  • Steve - The lover of Jade’s mum in the book Vicky Angel. Not much is know about his appearance, only he's approximately in his late twenties to early thirties (Jade's mum mentions she's a few years older than him). He has a wife and two toddler age children, and is shown to be dishonest when he lied to Jade's mum staying his marriage wasn't working out. When Jade's mum later gets a letter from his wife saying she's very upset, she ends it with him.
  • Robert - The best friend of Martin in the book Queenie. He passed away from tuberculosis prior to Elsie’s arrival, and Martin uses this it torment Elsie, nicknaming Robert’s bed “the bed of doom”. Robert has red hair, pale skin and freckles, and wore blue and white striped pyjamas.

  • Laura Peterson - The older sister of Laura in the book Baby Love. She was stillborn, passing before she was born prior to Laura’s birth, and was the original “Laura” as their mother always liked the name. Her things are kept in a cupboard in Laura’s parents’ house. Her and her brother Billy’s passing is why their parents, particularly their mother, are a bit too protective of Laura.
  • William “Billy” Peterson - The older brother of Laura, in Baby Love. He passed away before both Laura’s births, having been born with something wrong with his insides, and an operation to fix this sadly didn’t work. His things are kept in a cupboard in Laura’s parents’ house. He was named after his father, but was planned to be nicknamed Billy to avoid confusion. His and his sister’s (the original “Laura”) passing is why their parents, particularly their mother, are a bit too protective of Laura.
  • Tessa - The stepmother of Smash. She is married to Smash’s father, and is nicknamed Tinkerbelle by Smash due to her delicate, fairylike appearance.
  • Mr. Brown - The former Sunday school teacher of Sarah, in the book Baby Love. Nothing is known about his appearance, only he may have seemed attractive in a friendly sort of way to Sarah. This, and him being in a position of trust is why Sarah trusted him. He was instead, however, revealed to be a predator, and abused Sarah which led to her becoming pregnant with his child, and her being sent to Heathcote House. He is the reason Sarah blamed herself for what happened to her; she should have been able to trust him and she had done, and he blamed her, twisting it to make out she “tempted” him.
  • Mr. Kettle - The husband of Violet Kettle, the father of Sheila, and the grandfather of Elsie. He is deceased, having passed away prior to Queenie. Sheila was close to him, still thinking of him fondly whenever he is mentioned.

  • Verity’s mother - The mother of Verity, the wife of Verity’s father, and the daughter of Verity’s grandparents. She passed prior to The Cat Mummy, and due to her passing, none of her family like to talk about her or death, which lead to Verity getting a weird idea to hide Mabel in her room (partly inspired by school teaching about the Egyptians).
  • Amy - The daughter of Gina, in Dustbin Baby. She was a mixed race baby girl who was born when Gina was around 16-17 years old. She was adopted due to Gina being unable to care for her due to her being very young at the time of having her. Gina hears from her, glad a nice family has adopted her and she is happy and safe.
  • William “Will” - The older brother of Violet and the firstborn son of Iris and Violet’s father in the book Midnight. He passed away from cot death, and is the original “Will”. His parents tried to replace him with Will after his passing, and Violet only discovered his existence from finding his things in the attic, and noticing the birth date didn’t match Will’s birth date, there was a death date, and the eyes of the baby in the photos were the wrong colour.
  • Will’s Mother - The biological mother of adopted Will, in the book Midnight. She is a drug addict, and is presumed to be in jail for said crime and the neglect of Will. Violet’s dad being a policeman is how Will came to be adopted by them.
  • Diana - The best friend of Dolphin when she was in Year One, in Keithstone Primary, in The Ilustrated Mum. She is described to have had long hair tied into bunches with pink bobbles, and wore red sandals. She carried around a Minnie Mouse Doll. • Gerry’s parents- The parents of Gerry Cookson, and the grandparents of Beauty. They are deceased, having passed away prior to the events of Cookie.
  • Nana- Dilly’s mother, in the book Cookie. She got a boyfriend, who didn’t like Dilly, and Dilly left home at the age of 16 to get away from her and him. She didn’t seem bothered by this. She sent Beauty a pair of pink nylon babydoll pyjamas for her birthday, that were too small.
  • Florence - The daughter of Mike in the book Cookie. She was named after the character of the same name in the kids show The Magic Roundabout. She lives in London near her mother, Jenny.

  • Nicola Sharp - A writer and illustrator that is mentioned in Girls in Tears. She held an art competition that Russell entered, using Ellie’sEllie Elephant” character without her knowledge, only telling her after the competition closed. Ellie entered her “Myrtle Mouse”, and was congratulated by Nicola despite the competition having being closed. Later, after being berated by her father and Russell for using Myrtle when she’s the original creation of Ellie’s mother, Ellie writes an apology letter to Nicola, and Nicola reassures her that Ellie had moved on and made Myrtle hers.

  • Billy - A care worker at Sunnybank care home, in Dustbin Baby.
  • Lulu - A care worker at Sunnybank care home, in Dustbin Baby. She was described by April to have long hair that she wore in silly sticking out plaits, and wore a t shirt with I LOVE BOB on the front. She was thought of as kind in a soppy way.
  • Bob - The boyfriend of Lulu. He was described to wear a t shirt with I LOVE LULU on the front.
  • Janet Johnson - The first adoptive mother of April and the Ex-wife of Daniel Johnson in Dustbin Baby. She did love April, caring a lot about her, but became depressed over Daniel's dishonesty and eventual leaving. She died by cutting her wrists in the bath one day after he left, and was discovered by the next door neighbours after they saw April wandering in the garden, and went to investigate after April told them she couldn't find her mum. She was known as Mummy to April, and April is sure that she would have remembered her.
  • Daniel Johnson - The first adoptive father of April, and the ex-husband of Janet Johnson and the ex-partner of Sylvia in the book Dustbin Baby. He was known as Daddy to April. He tried to rename April Danielle after him, but she allegedly wouldn't respond to it. He was dishonest, having affairs with Sylvia behind Janet's back, and eventually leaving Janet for her. He also wasn't kind, losing his patience with the justifiably upset April after she lost Mummy, and eventually put her back into care. April is glad he isn't her real father.
  • Sylvia - The ex-partner of Daniel Johnson. She left Daniel after they moved back into his old house after the passing of Janet, finding it creepy and not wanting to be responsible for April. She likes Vogue, and gave April old copies to make a scrapbook, which she used to create her Paper Dolls instead.
  • "Big Bear" - The boyfriend of Elaine Boyak. He is mentioned and his photo is seen in Elaine's office in the book The Dare Game. He is thin and weedy, as seen in his photo, and wears glasses. His real name is as of yet unknown.
