Mary is a little girl who lives near Dixie in The Diamond Girls. She befriends Dixie after they met in her garden. After Dixie saved her after she jumped from the window, she was sent to live with her aunt and uncle.

Mary is six years old, and is fair skinned with blue eyes and has long blonde hair tied into tight pigtails. She always seems to look cleaner and tidy.
Attire[]
Mary usually wears dresses with colour matching or corresponding ribbons tied on her pigtails, and shiny brown leather sandals on her feet.
Personality[]
Mary is a sweet, but shy and timid girl. She is scared of her mum, because she bullies her, hurts her and threatens her. She loves her father, because he is kind to her, and her mum can't be horrid directly in front of him. She becomes good friends with Dixie, and likes her toy budgie, Bluebell.
Trivia[]
- When Dixie calls Mary's name sensible, Mary mentions that Mary is the name of Jesus's mother. This suggests Mary and her family are Christian.
- Mary also mentions her mum goes to church, further confirming this.
- Mary goes to live with her aunt and uncle by the end of The Diamond Girls.
