Bluebell

Bluebell was Tracy Beaker's doll when she was little. She served as like a best friend to Tracy, who was devastated when she got broken.

Bluebell was a large girl doll with blonde curly hair, peach coloured skin, and large blue eyes that could actually blink.

Attire

Bluebell wore a blue dress to match her eyes, white knee socks and black Mary Jane shoes. She also had a blue ribbon tied into a bow in her hair.

Biography

The Story of Tracy Beaker

When Tracy was around four years old her mum came to visit, and she bought her Bluebell. Tracy had many fun times with Bluebell; she served as like sort of a best friend, Tracy could tell her anything and she imagined Bluebell speaking back, telling her all the right answers (to her).

However, Tracy came unstuck when she started school, and they didn't allow you to bring toys with you to school (only on Fridays) so Bluebell had to stay home. Tracy would tuck her in bed with her eyes closed and pretend she was asleep, and then 'wake' her when she got back home from school.

One day, sadly, Tracy got home and opened Bluebell's eyes to find her eyes had disappeared. She was sent away to a doll hospital and was given new eyes, which were blue too, but not the same bright blue. They didn't work properly either; they either got stuck shut, or flashed up and down all the time which Tracy thought made her look silly and fluttery. But she never felt the same to Tracy again.
